Can I just say that I'm loving Marikina even more?! A fine-dining restaurant opened last year and it's such a shame that I haven't tried this until last week. One thing's for sure though, I'm definitely one of their loyal customers now.

Alain, Fino Deli's operations manager is my high school schoolmate at IJA. I messaged him on Facebook for a table reservation at their restaurant.

It's located in a residential area in Marikina Heights, so it's really quiet and peaceful. As soon as I stepped in, the waiters greeted me as if they already knew me from before. It was heartwarming!

Our waiter said we had complimentary wine and that we had to choose one from the menu. (Thanks Alain!) I'm not a wine person but I drink a glass once in a while.

Alain went to our table and we talked for a few minutes. He told us that this is their first venture in the food business and that it's a family-owned restaurant. After ordering, he then toured us around the whole lot.

Their function room (no photo, unfortunately) is large and can accommodate 40 people.

They have different varieties of cheese that perfectly go with wine.

After a few minutes, our food arrived! And boy, my food was excellently prepared. Plating looks good! I ordered one of their best sellers, Tomahawk Pork Chop while Bani got Pan Seared Salmon with Lemon-Dill Mousse (again, no photo).

Whenever we eat out, the fiancé would usually order the best on the menu and I'd be envious and end up eating his meal instead of finishing mine.

But not this time. I ordered the right one. I now have a new favorite.

Tomahawk Pork Chop for ₱450.00
Another main thing I love about this place is that they have huge space for parking. Thank you owners for being so considerate! This is definitely a thumbs up for me.

Spacious parking
They also have a veranda if customers want to breathe some fresh air while sipping their wine and eating their sumptuous food. Another thumbs up.

Veranda
It has an intimate setting. Their attention to detail and its contemporary European decor caught my attention.

And let us not forget the restrooms. It's clean, dry, ventilated and well-lit. I'm sold.

Overall, I love this restaurant so much. It's perfect for meetings, family gatherings, reunions and romantic dates. The price range is on the high side but with its huge servings, it's worth every cent. Last but not the least, the waiters especially their captain waiter, Julius, are so friendly, alert and always smiling, and for me, that's the make-it-or-break-it of a restaurant.
